Sanseking is honored to announce a collaboration with young artist Qi Ruiyun (art name: 9), securing the copyright to multiple original works for a new TCG co-branded merchandise series.
Qi Ruiyun, a graduate of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and based in Hangzhou, is an illustrator and tattoo artist who excels in both visual creation and body art expression. His artistic language centers on dark realism and stream-of-consciousness visual style, adept at exploring the complex emotional tensions and inner worlds of humanity through form, texture, and metaphor.

His works often use "black" as a visual medium, not to dwell in darkness but to seek the forms of light within its depths—reflections on "desire, vulnerability, and strength" form the spiritual foundation of his creations.
"I believe every image should have a life of its own.
It is not a mere stacking of visuals but an extension of consciousness."
For him, creation is a balance between rationality and sensibility: he uses calm structure to control chaotic emotions, concrete forms to carry abstract thoughts, allowing viewers to see the emotions they are reluctant to face yet undeniably real.
Whether on paper, skin, or screen, Qi Ruiyun's works engage viewers in a "dialogue at the spiritual level"—about warmth, pain, and reflection.
In his view, "visual language is merely a form; what truly moves people is honest expression."
He uses painting to record the world,
and in his paintings, he records himself.

Sanseking has always been committed to exploring the possibilities between tabletop gaming card culture and visual art.
We chose to collaborate with Qi Ruiyun (9) not only because of his highly distinctive dark realist aesthetics and profound emotional expression but also because of the honest gaze he casts on humanity, desire, and inner strength in his creations.
This creative spirit aligns closely with Sanseking's pursuit of "exploring the complexity and beauty of humanity between rules and imagination."
We believe that when his artistic language meets the world of TCG,
it will spark a visual experience with greater depth and warmth.
